- Argininosuccinic acid lyase deficiency (AL) (arginine

for Preparation and Use |

The amount of UCD 2 needed to
supplement total daily protein requirements depends on age,
body weight and individual protein tolerance. The dose of
UCD 2 must be determined by a physician or dietitian and
adjusted periodically. Diets with UCD 2 must contain adequate
amounts of energy, essential fatty acids and protein to meet
daily requirements
The daily amount required should be divided into 3 to 5 single
portions and can be taken mixed with calculated amounts of
other food (e.g. beverages, fruit mousse). |
