Indications:

  • Phenylketonuria

Directions for Preparation and Use:

Use only under the direction of a physician or dietitian. Periflex Advance must be consumed in conjunction with natural protein, fluid and other nutrients in quantities prescribed by a physician or dietitian to meet phenylalanine and general nutritional requirements.

Periflex Advance is intended for older children and adults, including pregnant women and women of child-bearing age.

Intake of Periflex Advance is dependent on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the individual. Periflex Advance should be divided into equal portions and distributed throughout the day.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Add the desired volume of water to a shaker or other container with a tight fitting lid. Then add the prescribed amount of powder and shake until fully blended together. Dilution guidelines are shown in the table below. Periflex Advance is best served chilled.
  • Periflex Advance tastes great when blended with 1 fl oz (30 mL) of water for every 5 to 6 grams of powder.
