A powdered, carbohydrate energy source designed for patients with disease related malnutrition and conditions requiring a high energy, fluid restricted diet.  A medical food containing maltodextrin.

Use under medical supervision.  Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.  Not for parenteral use.

Polycal dissolves readily and has a neutral taste making it ideal to be added to both sweet and savory foods or drinks without significantly altering flavor or texture.  It is also suitable for use in cooking.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use contents within six weeks. Replace lid firmly after use. Unfinished solutions should be stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
